A seasoned, multitalented and award winning creative with over 16 years experience crafting trailers and TV spots for big-budget, Hollywood campaigns, Toby cut his teeth at Aspect Ratio alongside some of the best in the business. Developing a keen understanding of the entertainment industry and film marketing, he went on to spend 4 years as a staff editor at Mojo where he finished on major campaigns for blockbusters such as 300 and the Harry Potter series and was nominated for a Golden Trailer award for The Orphan.

An enthusiastic team player, Toby has built a reputation that combines his savvy aesthetic sensibility, effective technique and love of all things state-of-the-art to provide deadline-driven, on-target results.

Throw in a musical background that includes piano, trumpet and vocals, and you’ve got yourself a proven music editor that can work flawlessly with composers on original scores and sound design.


Starting in 2011, Toby established Divine Ideas, Inc. to provide superior freelance editing services to shops around Los Angeles—including Open Road Entertainment, Transit, Trailer Park, Mob Scene, Skip Film, and CBS. His most recent projects of note include Incarnate, Daredevil, Magic Mike XXL, The Flash (The CW), and The 100 (The CW).
